Wimbledon bound (green) 2540 passing (green) Elmers End bound 2531 in George Street Croydon on 6th January 2009 How spooky is this? Two years, one day later I again photographed a Wimbledon bound 2540 passing 2531, this time in George Street, Croydon. However, 2531 this time is heading for Elmers End and both are now in the green TfL tram livery.
Wimbledon bound (green) 2540 on the Addiscombe Road approaching the NLA Tower on 6th January 2009 Actually taken three and a quarter hours earlier than the above picture, 2540 is on the Addiscombe Road approaching the NLA Tower. Its next stop will be East Croydon station.
Wimbledon bound (green) 2540 at Mitcham Junction on 6th January 2009 showing roof detail I did well for 2540 on Wimbledon workings on 6th January 2009! This shot was taken from the footbridge at Mitcham Junction in order to capture some of the detail on the roof. From the open door, maybe the cabs get warm quickly. It certainly was not warm outside!
