You cannot see much of 29026 in this photograph but I have included it here because it is a sight that can no longer be seen. This is the evening peak in the terminal platforms at Dublin Connolly on 22nd May 2007. 078 and Mk2s form the 17:05 departure to Sligo, 29026 will be on a shorter working to Balbriggan departing two minutes later.

Use of the 071 class on passenger workings and Mk2e coaches are no more. 29000 Class units - intended to be inner suburban stock - took over Sligo services upon withdrawal of the Mk2fs. Dublin- Sligo being one of IE's longer workings, this was not a popular move! Today more suitable 22000 Class units work to Sligo.
